This policy explains what data is processed and how cookies are used when you visit the Gez Yoldaş travel site at www.gezyoldas.com. Questions: info@gezyoldas.com
What data do we collect?
- Visit measurement (Google Analytics 4): runs only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. It measures page views, clicks, approximate location (country/city), device, browser and language, and visit duration. We do not collect identifying details such as your name or email. Google states that Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses.
- If you decline: no analytics cookies are used and existing analytics cookies are deleted. Google may still receive basic cookieless, non-identifying measurement signals.
- Server logs: for security and debugging, your IP address, the time, the requested page and browser details may be kept on the server for a limited period.
- Email: if you write to us, your email address and message are used only to reply to you.
- Travelers’ Secrets section: content you choose to submit there, and any login details, are used only to run that section.

Third-party content
- YouTube: videos load through youtube-nocookie.com, and only after you click play.
- Google Fonts: on some pages, fonts load from Google servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google.
- Images: some flags and photos may load from flagcdn.com, Wikimedia Commons or Unsplash servers.
- Social media: links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook only take you to those platforms when you click them.
Legal basis and transfers
Analytics relies on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), KVKK Art. 5/1); server logs rely on our legitimate interest. Google may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK (Art. 11) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. You can change your consent at any time with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Requests: info@gezyoldas.com. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
